Hi! I'm a newbie. These are just my two cents about the Blu-Ray: The new Blu-Ray was a definite improvement over the first Blu-Ray, though the slight DNR bothered me a bit, preventing it from being as good as the Blu-Ray of the first Evil Dead. The audio was quite good but the lack of mono was a tad irksome. For me, the best part of the new Blu-Ray were the brand new Special Features. I enjoyed the new documentary and all the Behind The Scenes footage...

I pre-ordered the new Blu-Ray release, getting it a few weeks back. I don't have a Blu-Ray player yet, but I'm just waiting for a MKV rip to turn up on one or other of the filesharing sites which I can download and play. Buying the release was my way of showing support for it, and I always like to buy proper retail releases over pirated ones where I can.

Anyone know if the 25th anniversary edition of ED2 will be released on R2?
