The GamesMaster himself, Patrick Moore has died at the age of 89 his friends and colleagues have said.
He "passed away peacefully at 12:25 BST this afternoon" at his home in Selsey, West Sussex, they said in a statement.
It's a sad day for us GamesMaster fans. RIP

Did Patrick ever meet Dom as you saw Pat do his scenes on the screen which ive no idea if it was live or pre recorded.

Very sad news. Sir Patrick will always be the Gamesmaster. I first saw him on GM, and from that got into The Sky At Night, which i watched ever since. A true legend. The DVD set will be watched in his honour.

Just watched the C5 news and they mentioned him. No mention of GM though.
