In the wake of Megaupload

Post by Exoddus »

I've copied and pasted this from the download forum.

There goes all the download links. Can't believe the USA shut it down even before SOPA & PIPA are even passed in congress.

If these bills get past or not will it even matter? The Americans will go ahead and shut down any site they want to.

If they wanted to block it or bring it down. Surely they should have just blocked it for there own citizens and not everybody else? Does the world really revolve around the USA? Or are they just trying to protect their own exports?

People had person and important files stored on that website. All which have been lost.

Tough economic times and we get all sorts of shit like this happening. We go into Libya just to take their oil. USA trying to censor the internet to stop piracy. Argentina laying claim to the Falklands Island. As they want the oil there. We won't give the Falklands up as we want the oil.

There's no way will give the Falklands to Argentina. Even if the people of the Falkland want it. There's simply too much money there for us.

Is capitalism and the western world failing? Our government has been ass licking the USA for years. Now China is the super power of the world. How long will it be until our government jump into bed with China?
