Promotional stills

Having learned the hard way about the need for promotional material while marketing The Evil Dead, there were large number of photos shot by various members of the Evil Dead II production team, which were all taken on set without the need for later specifically arranged photo shoots. In addition to this there were also photos taken whilst on set visits by a number of genre publications, including Fangoria Magazine. Here are a selection of those promotional stills.

Behind the scenes

Cabin Scale Plans

Over the years, people have drawn up scale plans to the cabin, and below are a number of those images which have been saved from the internet in the past.

The top three images were drawn by French-Canadian former 'Deadites Online' moderator Patrick Soucy aka Morsoth, who used to run a website called 'Morsoth's Evil Dead Collection' from about 1999 up to 2003, although he has since dropped out of the community. His website detailed his huge collection of Evil Dead related material and various pet projects including a replica Evil Dead II Dagger, a scale model of the Evil Dead II Cabin, and a French language project to assemble a complete guide to the Evil Dead, which included many pictures, technical information, Movies trivia & bloopers. Much of the material is no longer online, but you can still view some of his site through the Internet Archive Project here
