Promotional stills
Of the many photos were taken during the production, virtually all of them were behind the scenes pictures, and none of them were suitable for use in formal promotional material. Shortly after they had signed a distribution deal with Irvin Shapiro in the early months of 1982, Bruce Campbell & Bridget Hoffman got together with Mike Ditz in his photo studio, just down the street from Renaissance Pictures' offices, armed with a shotgun, shovel and a pair of monster arms. They worked through the night creating a range of poses & setups to cover themselves against any requirements. The other pictures were sourced from the internegative (the printing negative) which was and used to print stills. Here are a selection of those promotional stills.

Behind the scenes
