The Characters
  • Ash - Our legendary demon slaying, chainsaw wielding, lady killing hero.
  • Shelia - Maiden who recently lost her brother in battle, falls for Ash. (He's lucky she didn't have syphilis.)
  • Arthur - Noble leader of the land, he's a darn goody two-shoes knight.
  • Wiseman - Old alchemist/wizard.
  • Duke Henry - Red haired and bearded leader of the northern kingdoms.
  • Bad Ash - Created after Ash first swallows a six inch version of himself, then grows two heads, then splits into two people... ...oh forget it, he's an evil and rotting version of Ash. Turned into a firework.
  • Little Ash's - Tiny versions who crawl out of the broken shards of a mirror. Some get stomped, some get eaten.
  • The Deadites - Undead army risen to destroy the living. Chopped, blown apart, etc.
    • The Plot
  • The action packed sequel to Evil Dead 2 is more comedy than horror. Sam Raimi slightly rewrote the ending of the second film to fit the plot here, but only a smidgen. Having been pulled through a dimensional door Ash finds himself in medieval England, where he's mistaken for a member of Duke Henry's army. Arthur doesn't like Henry, the knight plans on feeding his prisoners to evil demons imprisoned in a pit. Ash lucks out when the wiseman tosses him the chainsaw, with it he defeats the two creatures in the pit and crawls out a very unhappy camper. Securely in charge after shooting Arthur's sword in half he sets about getting home. Well first he does the funky chicken, or a reasonable facsimile, with Shelia - then it's all about getting home. After some misadventures with a horde of impish spirits and having to kill a duplicate of himself Ash finds the books. Three to be exact, which makes him none to happy, especially since the first contains a black hole and the second appears to be a lost tome of Hitchcock. (Ever seen a guy dancing around with a book attacking him?) Unfortunately one must speak an incantation before touching the Book of the Dead, Ash sort of forgets the last word and tries to mumble it, setting free the great evil. With the zombie "Bad Ash" leading a horde of skeletons descend on the castle for a final confrontation. Ash is witty and slightly unbalances as ever, while you'll be rather amused to watch skeletons shriek in fear just before tragedy befalls them.

  • Nobody ever listens to the wiseman.
  • Medieval knights often fall for the old "Your shoelace is untied" trick.
  • Department store employees know how to construct robotic limbs.
  • If you ever swallow a six inch tall version of yourself do not add water.
  • Some books contain black holes.
  • Never mumble the magic words.
  • Every car has one chemistry book in it's trunk.
  • Rotting corpses have a problem pronouncing "forth."
  • When wrestling a skeleton try the backbreaker - very effective.
    • Stuff to Watch For
  • 3 mins-Notice the very obvious harness and cable attached to Ash as he spins through the air.
  • 7 mins-RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST ASH!
  • 27 mins-Hello tree limb.
  • 39 mins-Wrong book again Ash, ever seen "The Birds?" Hehehe!
  • 47 mins-The undead army is digging up new recruits.
  • 53 mins-I wouldn't hold that so close to the candle.
  • 68 mins-For that pun you deserve to die.
  • 73 mins-Cleanup in housewares...
