Details:
The dark thing which posessed Linda's head pushes Ash outside into the forest and then Ash hits a tree and falls into a massive dirty puddle. Because the dark thing comes out at night and goes away at daytime, the thing disappears and Ash turns back to normal ( he was a zombie ) and in the sky you can see the sun rising.
But if you look at the sky when Ash was being pushed into the forest you can clearly see it's daytime all ready!
