Campbell on Spider-Man II Thursday, July 25, 2002 12:54 CDTBloody-Disgusting recently did an interview with Bruce Campbell, who plays the ring announcer in Spider-Man, and he talked some more on the Spidey sequel and Evil Dead 4... 6. Spiderman 2, many people have said you would be a perfect Doctor Octopus, what are your feelings about that? Any chance you could play the part? What will your new role be? "I couldn't tell you anything yet, but I never heard anything about me being Doctor Octopus." He also didn't seem to keen on the idea of being Doctor Octopus, but he said we'll have to wait and see what role is given to him, if any. 7. With the huge success of Spiderman and everything going on, it seems to me that Evil Dead 4 is going to be dead in the water. "Well, there is a possibility, but who knows." When asked about a script ever being worked on Bruce said, "Sam had some ideas and it is possible." The Impression I got was that he was totally interested in making another Evil Dead film, but that everyone else seems to be busy doing other things.
