Evil Dead 4?
Xena director to do new feature film

Wonder how much this guy's getting paid
| Sam Raimi's
hyper-kinetic, bathos-ridden directorial style hasn't been seen on
the big screen since the middling The Quick and the Dead, and
he hasn't done anything in the SF/Fantasy/Horror genre since Army
of Darkness. However, he'll be up to his old zoom tricks in
Practical Demonkeeping, due most likely in 2000 or 2001.
The film is an adaptation of Chris Moore's novel of the same
name, about a young immortal named Travis, who comes to Pine Grove
with a demon named Catch. Travis meets up with the surly, quirky
characters who inhabit the town while trying to find some way to
send his demon back to Hell before it eats someone else.
Ed Herman (Robocop) is writing the script.
