The most frequently asked question I get is "Will there be an Evil Dead 4?" Well, the answer is still NO, but Ash is coming back to the screen - and the best part is I don't even have to shave!
It's no secret that video games have been ripping off Ash and the Evil Dead series for years. Now it's our turn to show them that nothing beats the original. THQ and the key team from the hit game Parasite Eve, have begun developing Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ashes, and I will reprise my role as dumbell Ash...in voice-over form.
The game is in the early stages of development, but with the help of THQ I'll be keeping you up-to-date on the progress. So, check back often and start saving your cash. Renting is for losers, you need to BUY this baby.
Later gaters,
Bruce
Thanks go to Scott Krager at THQ for supplying us with the following concept art for Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ashes
Ash - everyone's favorite square-jawed, shotgun-toting, chainsaw-armed hero!
Ash returns to the woods and is once again trapped by the Evil.
A long since abandoned church... or is it?
An old graveyard nestled deep within the evil woods.

THQ bringing Evil Dead to PC, PlayStation. Groovy.
The Evil Dead series of films have always been a favorite of gamers. Now, the films are coming to the PC and Playstation in the form of an adventure game.
THQ has snagged a five-year licensing deal for the rights to the film franchise on all platforms. The first entry will be Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ashes, due out next fall.
"An interactive adventure based on Evil Dead is long overdue," said Bruce Campbell, star of the three Evil Dead films. "Today's game technology will give millions of fans their first chance to experience the sometimes horrific but often times humorous adventures of Ash and the Necronomicon."
Developed with the support of Evil Dead creators Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert, as well as Campbell, Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ashes will be a single-player, real-time 3-D adventure game with full-motion, layered 2-D backgrounds.
You'll assume the role of Ash -- the square-jawed, shotgun-toting, chainsaw-armed hero -- in a new story that continues the ongoing saga of the Necronomicon ex Mortis (also known as the Book of the Dead). The story's set eight years after the last installment of the film's trilogy (Army of Darkness). Ash returns to the infamous cabin in the woods. There, he is again faced with the challenge of battling "deadites" and evil forces that have crossed over to our world because of the Necronomicon.
The game is being developed by a new team - Heavy Iron Studios - which THQ says is composed of video game industry veterans whose previous games include Parasite Eve. The game also includes several new and exciting environments to the "Evil Dead" universe that serve to expand its existing history. These environments offer a wide variety of gameplay, settings, puzzles and enemies.
