Without getting into specifics, here's what the situation is.The music clearances WERE resolved and the situation had been put to rest, however another legal issue came up out of the blue and because of it, WITHIN THE WOODS will most likely never see release on home video.
That's really all I can say about it. It's a unfortunate situation in any case.
As for the retail price remaining at $49.98...it may seem steep, but again it is the Suggested Retail Price. I doubt many retailers will be selling it that price and in fact most will be significantly lower than you might think. We are putting a great deal of promotional effort into this and our retailers are very enthused about the release which will have a positive effect for consumers when it comes time to purchase of course.
If in the end, you feel that this is not the money for you because of this change, then that is your choice. I would hope however that many of you out there will consider waiting to see the final product on March 5th and make your final determination then. I honestly believe this will be a terrific release, WITHIN THE WOODS or not.
