Hello,

There never was a commentary recorded with Tom, though it was discussed. At the end of the day we had major space issues when it came to the disc, when it was decided early on that a two-disc EVIL DEAD BOOK OF THE DEAD would have been too cost prohibitive. With 7 audio tracks (including two 5.1 tracks and a 6.1 track), a 90m feature, Bruce's Fanalysis, Discovering Evil Dead, Behind the Scenes Footage, Within the Woods (before all this), as well as bios, trailer and tv spots, there was little room on this for what we had planned so several other ideas were abandoned kinda early on.

In the end though, Tom's work on THE BOOK OF THE DEAD is simply out of this world, and his name and talent are all over the BOOK, which will hopefully lead to a better appreciation of his important contributions to THE EVIL DEAD.
