When Demon Shelley is at her finest, Scotty starts to cut off her right hand, but she finishes the job by chewing it off herself. You know it is disconnected, because it is clenched around the knife that she is stabbed with. Scotty then cuts her up into pieces. When the camera shows us this he is cutting off her other hand. But in the next scene they show it from her point of view, through blood-stained eyes, that she is waving her HAND trying to stop him.
