About Ash :

In the sequel to the Evil Dead Ash has most definitely matured, after being catapulted through the forest tree tops at the end of the first movie, it became apparent that there was an evil side to Ash, ash the night progressed once more Ash becomes more and more paranoid, and after being attacked by and having to severe is own right hand with a chainsaw Ash decided that it was time to stop messing around and finish the job.

With the help of a chainsaw enhanced arm and a shit load of magic spells Ash finally dispelled and got rid of the Evil, the only thing is he went along for the ride... 

This version of Ash is most definitely the most action packed and pissed off of the entire bunch and he also ensured that Evil Dead 2 would be the most remembered of the entire saga.
