CHARACTERS

Ash is yet again played by Bruce
Campbell. This time around Ash has gone some way around to having a
real personality. Gone is the geeky teenage of the first film and this
time it's pay back as Ash tears through the deadites with some of the
cheesiest (and best) one liners known to man.
Here Ash becomes the cowardly hero that has inspired such characters as Duke Nukem. This is also the film where he gets his trademark shotgun and chainsaw for the final confrontation against the evil. |

Annie is played by Sarah Berry. Annie is the
daughter of Professor Knoby, the man responsible for unleashing the evil
dead. Her along with her father and mother and Ed found the book of the
dead in the chambers of the castle of Candor.
She comes out to the cabin to help her father with his research but when she arrives she finds Ash with the bloody chainsaw. She soon realizes what has be unleashed into the world and it's up to her to recite the passages of the book and dispel the evil. |

Dan Hicks plays the part of Jake. Jake isn't the
bravest or smartest of people and in a bad situation tends to just make
things worse. After the bridge to the cabin has been knocked down Jake
along with Bobby Joe are the ones that bring Annie and Ed out to the
cabin.
When they realise what's going on Jake just wants to get out of there with his girl and ends up causing more trouble than is needed. |

Bobby Joe is played by Kassie Wesley. Her and
Jake help bring Annie and Ed out to the Knoby cabin for a small price
unknown to them what's in store. She is a lot like Jake and while she acts
smart at the beginning she soon begins to break up once she realises
what's going on.
For most part of the film Bobby Joe doesn't do much but stand around screaming until she meets her inevitable faith which thanks to Jake almost destroys the parties only hope. |

Denies Bixler plays Linda in the second Evil
Dead movie. She is Ash's girlfriend and here it's just both her and Ash
that go up to the cabin in the woods and it's not surprise that she
shortly is attacked by an evil force and disappears. She soon reappears
only now she's a zombie and Ash must defend himself with the help of a
shovel.
After she rises from the dead, again Ash must battle both her decapitated head and her body. Luckily enough now he has a chainsaw handy to help him out. |

Played by Richard Domeier, Ed is a friend of Annie Knoby who along
with her and her father discovered the Book Of The Dead in the castle of
Candar. Together her and Annie go to the cabin thinking they'll be greated
by her father but instead are met by a psyched up bloody Ash.
Ed is one of those characters that exsists just to be killed and is the first of the group to be knocked off. He is possessed by an evil spirit and is soon axed by Ash. |
