"Roger Rabbit" meets "Fritz the
Cat" in a combination of live action and outrageous animation. From the director of "Mob Boss" and "Inner Sanctum" comes "EVIL TOONS", one of the few feature films to combine live action and animation in the tradition of "Roger Rabbit".
When four sexy college girls are hired to clean a deserted mansion, they unwittingly release both a ghost (DAVID CARRADINE, "Bird on a Wire", "The Serpent’s Egg", "Lone Wolf McQuade", and television’s "Kung Fu") and an insidious Demon Cartoon, which "comes alive" from a drawing out of a book of black magic.
The Cartoon leaps to life and begins his "reign of terror", attempting to possess the girls’ souls in order to gain immortality and eventually rule the world… He enters the body of one of the girls (MONIQUE GABRIELLE, "Emmanuelle V", "Death Stalker II", "Bachelor Party") in order to carry out his mission and evade the ghost who had been sent to destroy him.
With the help of the Ghost, their boss (DICK MILLER, "Little Shop of Horrors", "Terminator", "Innerspace", "Gremlins 1 & 2") and their weird neighbor (ARTE JOHNSON, "Love at First Bite", "Laugh In") the remaining girls thwart the onslaught of the killer Cartoon and succeed in saving their friend and – quite possibly – the world.
