I'd say the tensest moment on the set was when Edward Connell started throwing rocks at cameraman Ed Begley Jr. for reasons still unknown today. |
Monster #2, convincingly portrayed by Sir Percible Danforth the
Third, was accidentally caught in the crossfire. Filming was now in jeopardy as
the United Order of Creatures threatened to pull casting of all monsters due to
reports of abusive working conditions. A private agreement that Edward Connell
never work again was reached, and it was so.

Many don't know that Vicky was played by triplets! *_* As you can
see, all of them have different lenghts of hair, which caused the viewers mild
confusion. The original director, Denis Muren, seemed to like medium length hair
Vicky the best, while Jack Woods couldn't seem to decide.

Our young .... ish heroes, upon hearing
evil screams emanating from a really dark cave, meet an obviously insane
elderly gentleman who gives them the gift of Necronomicon. The book is
never actually mentioned by name, but we know what it is, don't we?
Think Necronomicon is a phoney? Well, you're right. Read all about the mass hysteria HERE. In the director's cut, the elderly man tells the kids a story of demons and their demon "friends" (I love how the elderly talk) before giving them the book and kicking them to the curb. In the theatrical release, he pretty much justs hands them the book and laughs his ass off, which doesn't help the poor viewer out a bit.
