The Sculpting: The sculpting on this doll is much
better than that of Ash. The face is identical to that of Evil Ash
in the film. Unlike Ash, Evil Ash has "real" hair.
The
Paint: Painting is absolutely perfect on this figure. The most
amazing piece is the sword. The blood on the sword is quite
realistic. The skull helmet is shadowed, dirtied and gives a
realistic style. It looks great on the pictures, but it's even
better on the real doll.
The Outfit: How to describe
it all? Evil Ash has clothing like Ash, but he also sports flexible
armour; it's extremely detailed, absolutely perfect! Needless to say
I prefer this doll's clothing to that of Ash's. Also, one should not
forget the cape; it 's shredded properly, and very faithful to the
cape of film.
The Accessories: Fewer accessories
here. But given the superb armor I can understand; and I think the
only accessories they could have added is a second sword and the
Necronomicon. As mentioned above, blood on this sword is really
fantastic. The sword also has a scabbard.
Overall:
With great paint ops, a fantastic outfit and an excellent sculpt,
Evil Ash is superior to the regular Ash. Definitely worth the money
for fans!
