Here's a video clip of Bruce making an appearance at a local ED2 screening and being asked about the status of WTW. As you can see the picture quality isn't the greatest due to the dim lighting in the theater. He truly doesn't seem too interested in sharing WTW with all the ED fans out there...... VIDEO CLIP .

Ever See *Evil Dead 2* with a bunch of *Deadites*...?

Of all the movies I've ever seen in theaters, few captivated audiences the way Evil Dead 2 did. I saw it 3 times during its initial run at my neighborhood grindhouse, deep in the heart of the Bronx. I remember how quiet the theater would get during tense moments and the loud explosion of screams during wilder scenes. These people were terrified, (as was I) by ED2, yet I could sense the uneasy mood that the humorous scenes caused. Sam had us in the palm of his hand and never let us go. It rocked the crowd each of the 3 times I viewed it, and changed the way I looked at movies and re-invigorated my interest in film. Sam and the gang became the rulers of my universe for quite a while, until Tarantino came on the scene.... It's sort of weird seeing ED2 today with an audience of fellow Deadites. Sure we appreciate this film like no other, laugh in the right spots, clap and cheer in others, but I miss the screams of yesterday. The following clips were filmed bootleg style, in a dark theater with a camcorder pointed at the screen. These clips capture a bit of what its like to see ED2 with a crowd today. The clips are very dark, as one would expect, but you can still see what's on the big screen, and more importantly, you can hear the crowd freaking out during the title sequence (big cheer), the "swallow this!" scene (huge cheer), and the "Groovy..." scene (massive cheer!).
