My process on building my ash vs evil dead season 4 concept chainsaw! Just to catch everyone up to speed; the idea is that after finally catching up to the dark ones, ash, Kelly, Pablo, brandy, and the cyber girl get trapped in a shed; surrounded by deadites bashing against the old oak doors. Kelly makes a flame thrower, Pablo a bartering ram, and of course, ash a new chainsaw. Unfortunately since theres not much gas in the future ash makes a battery pack out of some of scraps and lawnmower parts. the group heads out, taking on the hoard; ash sets his sights and attacks the dark ones. However only a kandarian dagger can hurt the dark ones so ash miserably loses the fight leaving 5 scratches on the saw. the scratches represent the 5 forms of evil dead before evil dead rise, ash's friends, his trauma, and his inability to take care of the issue when it was at its most manageable. However the chainsaw did manage to knock the book from the dark ones grasp, so the ghostbeaters were able to swipe the book back and bring it back to KOS headquarters! as they research they eventually find out the only way to kill the dark ones is with a dagger...unfortunately all versions of the dagger have been lost. but there is a spell that can be held to create a dagger. by carving out the runes "kandarius" into the item, and sitting in a ritual circle for 3 unbroken days, they are able to turn ash's chainsaw into a new dagger. the battery is then replaced by the necronomicon to act as a power source to not only keep the saw going, but to keep the runes working properly.
