This was a simple 2014 project to create a replica of the oil lantern seen in ED1. I bought an original Dietz No. 2 D-lite lantern from an eBay seller in the USA for $80 including postage to the UK, then painted it with different effects to create the replica. I used Rust-Oleum Textured Multi Colour Finish Autumn Brown Spray Paint - 400ml to get the rust effect and I think it worked pretty well. You can see in the screenshots at the bottom that the lamp is not only a solid rust colour it's satin brown in places too, with a yellow fuel cap. I still have this in my collection as of 2020.
