Throughout the course of 2000 the THQ promotional waggon rolled on, churning out various promotional items for the games. Thoses that have been collected appear below. The game itself was of course originally titled Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ashes but the name was later changed to Hail to the King.

Broadcast in 2000 was a unique TV ad starring Bruce Campbell. It debuted on 4th December 2000 during a break in the then WWF 'Raw is War' Monday night wrestling show.

Doctor enters to check out patient who has had some interesting cosmetic surgery.	He unveils a chainsaw attache to his arm	Man falls off of bed with weight of chainsaw	Man trims hedge with his new 'trimmer' hand. The chainsaw being too heavy for his arm.
Bruce Campbell appears and asks "Hey, isnt that supposed to be a chainsaw?"	Man looks up with a cocky attitude, "You wanna piece of this?!"	Man says, "Yeah, I didn't think..." He starts to run.	Bruce chases him calling, "come back here you freak!". Man screams out, "Help! Bruce Campbell's chasing me!"
